Graphic Designer Specialist

Creates and executes the layout and design of printed and multimedia material while adhering to internal and external brand guidelines. Designs layout documents and promotional literature and payment industry documents. Develops and maintains knowledge of alternative production techniques and resources. Works with internal and external customers to provide visual communications and marketing solutions that have the highest visual impact to meet objectives.

* Leads the collaboration with internal and external clients to determine client specific design solutions, methods and mediums that have the desired visual impact to effectively meet project objectives. Provides detailed and unconventional recommendations for design solutions, methods and medium by anticipating the client's needs. Provides less experienced graphic designers guidance and feedback on design proposals. * As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), leads the execution of multimedia and graphic design projects, including landing pages, logos, banners, email templates, web emails, video, PowerPoint presentations, and other elements of varying levels of complexity. Maintains department files of completed assignments and maintains accurate logs of work in progress. Assists less experienced graphic designers with the application of non-standard design concepts and methodologies. * As the SME, applies an expert knowledge of design concepts and graphic design methodologies to layouts on various types of media while adhering to internal and client determined branding and color management standards. Coordinates the work of graphic designer team. Provides guidance and coaching to assist in team member development. * Determines need for vendor outsourcing based on business requirements and internal resource availability. Manages and may negotiate vendor relationships and make recommendations to ensure quality outputs and brand integrity.

* Bachelor's Degree * Relevant Experience or Degree in: Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field and eight or more years specialized training or professional experience is preferred * Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field and six years related experience * Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp * Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review). * Job Complexity - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. * Supervision - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). * Technical - Knowledge of current Graphic Design software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premier) * Project Management - Ability to manage and organize several projects simultaneously * Creativity - Ability to create designs, layouts and other outputs that generate the desired results
