Summary
As the East Coast Sales Director, you will actively manage the regional team of sales managers who are identifying and closing new business opportunities. This position is a leadership role within the sales team that will focus on driving teams to meet targets, providing metric-driven numbers and reports on a regular basis, partnering with training and onboarding programs for team members and hiring new team performers. Responsibilities
* Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for sales managers; projecting expected sales volume and profit for Trustpilot products. * Implements sales programs by developing sales action plans, areas of development. * Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current on changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. * Responsible for target setting, monitoring calls for both reps and managers, coaching/training and providing feedback on the sales team. * Collaborates with greater marketing, training, sales operations, product and customer success team on needs, updates, market demands and changes to keep the sales team fluent and progressive. * Drive team to perform and help remove any obstacles. * Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. * Maintains sales staff management by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. * Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Provides regular updates to sales managers, stakeholders, and others as needed, including requested reports. * Responsible for hiring performers and terminating non-performers. * Be actively involved in the sales process to provide leadership, ability to negotiate deals and mentor sales managers to achieve sales goals.
Ideal Candidate
* Inside sales experience. * Experience leading large scale teams. * 2 to 4 years at director level with overall 6 to 10 years in sales. * Ability to scale a team. * Ability to manage a tight sales process. * Experience with consultative and solution selling. * Start-up experience - SaaS and Digital Marketing a plus. * Segmentation and industry focus a benefit.
