Summary
Software Engineer: Analyzing, designing, programming and testing TriZetto software programs and applications. Working closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating proficiency with appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs using knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to the department. - Growing industry expertise (e.g., healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the business unit (e.g., application support, code development, etc.) and the Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.). - Creating application design and code reviews processes. - Seeking improvements in procedures and in automating manual procedures. - Triaging defects, impact analysis, resolution planning and implementation. - Participating in processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration, detailed design, and coding review. Acting as a technical resource for troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. - Experience: Minimum of two years' related experience. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. **Behavioral Competencies:** - Intermediate written and verbal communications skills. - Intermediate organizational abilities. - Intermediate comprehension capabilities. **Travel / Physical** - Limited travel.
