Summary
IT Project Manager Senior: Leading projects for TriZetto's corporate infrastructure, security, Telecom, and technology initiatives. Initiating, planning and executing daily project tasks for software, hardware, infrastructure, and equipment configurations, encompassing analysis and design, build, and solution implementation phases. Working with executive sponsors, stakeholders, and project team members to determine project needs and develop project plans, schedules, and procurement strategy. Using project management methodologies and best practices to manage business requirements, scope, risk, communications, and resources to meet budget, schedule, and customer expectations. Managing the implementation of solutions according to best practices and established industry and corporate standards. Leading in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Creating project scope, charter documents, Capital Asset Request Forms, Statements of Work, RFIs and RFPs, project plans and schedules to manage tasks and resources. Developing project status reports, project metrics, and financial tracking reports. Procuring equipment and services to support project objectives and deliverables. - Identifying risks and performing contingency and mitigation planning and management of scope, risk, resource, and communications. - Performing daily management of project activities and resources according to various project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, SDLC, COBIT, CCMI). Creating deliverables, documentation, and artifacts in support of project objectives. Developing communication plans to disseminate project status, information, and expectations to internal and external team resources and stakeholders. - Developing and fostering constructive working relationships and facilitating open communications with executive sponsors, project teams, and internal customers. - Leading, organizing, and coordinating cross functional project teams through project initiating, planning, executing, and closing phases. Managing multiple projects in a dynamic fast paced environment with changing requirements, priorities, and stakeholders. - Data Center migration.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. - PMP Certification preferred. - Minimum of 10 years' experience using project/software management methodologies to manage projects such as PMBoK, Agile, and Waterfall. - Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. - Experience working with servers (physical and virtual) and Data Center Migration. - Infrastructure knowledge. - Effective communication skills. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, ideally including Project and SharePoint. - Limited travel.
