Summary

Supporting and executing marketing strategy and processes for healthcare business unit events, tradeshows and special projects as assigned. Collaborating with key stakeholders to support company messaging and solution value propositions and translating into events and tradeshows that enhance the healthcare business unit’s brand and that create lead generation opportunities for business unit solutions. Tracking and reporting on all marketing programs.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with business unit stakeholders on event definition and execution, to include project plan and assigning stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
  • Assignment and coordination of event roles and responsibilities across internal event participants.
  • Creating and managing pre-, during, and post-event communications and campaign program, including e-mails, direct mails, and webinars. Communications plans for both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborating with third-party Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), vendors and business partners to effectively plan and execute assigned events. These may include speaker’s bureaus, speakers, fulfillment companies, marketing agencies, trade organizations and associations.
  • Coordinating the fulfillment and managing the inventory for event promotional items.
  • Measuring and reporting event results.
  • Processing of purchase order requests and invoices associated with Marketing events.
Ideal Candidate

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Marketing or Communications related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years' related experience in marketing and/or marketing events.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong project management and skills.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Must be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running.
  • Strong negotiation, problem management and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills are required.
