Summary
IT Project Manager Leading projects for TriZetto's corporate infrastructure, security, and technology initiatives. Planning and managing daily project tasks for software, hardware, infrastructure, and equipment configurations, encompassing analysis and design, build, and solution implementation phases. Working with executive sponsors, stakeholders, and project team members to determine project needs and develop project plans, schedules, and procurement strategy. Using project management methodologies and best practices to manage business requirements, scope, risk, communications, and resources to meet budget, schedule, and customer expectations. Managing the implementation of solutions according to best practices and established industry and corporate standards. Participating in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
* Creating project management artifacts including project scope and charter documents, project plans, project schedules and project status reports. * Providing daily management of project activities, tasks, and resources. Identifying risks and performing contingency and mitigation planning and management of scope, risk, resource, and communications. * Developing communication plans, creating deliverables and documentation in support of project objectives and disseminating project status, information, and expectations to internal and external team resources and stakeholders. * Developing and fostering productive working relationships and facilitating open communications with executive sponsors, project teams, and internal customers. * Managing multiple projects in a dynamic fast paced environment with changing requirements, priorities, and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree. PMP Certification preferred. * Practical experience using project/software management methodologies to manage projects such as PMBoK, Agile, and Waterfall. Healthcare industry experience preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Project as well as SharePoint. * Required to work onsite at Trizetto's office in downtown St. Louis. * Limited travel.
