Junior Marketing Specialist

Tripwire is a leading provider of endpoint detection and response, security, compliance and IT operation solutions for enterprises, service providers and government agencies. Tripwire solutions are based on high-fidelity asset visibility and deep endpoint intelligence combined with business context; together these solutions integrate and automate security and IT operations.

The Marketing and Events Specialist will assist in coordinating a range of marketing and communication activities, including tradeshows and fulfillment needs. The incumbent will work as the liaison between the Events team, accounting and legal.

* Coordinate aspects of select Tripwire events, including advance preparation, project planning and management, budgeting, contract negotiation, exhibit design and presence, materials management, on-site staffing, and post-event evaluation * Prep and send all event leads for import * Event Marketing update to sales * Coordinate and prep all event shipping materials, including booth and collateral * Obtain W-9’s from new vendors for accounting * Manage contracts and communication with legal * Write concise and engaging email copy, tailoring content to maximize audience relevancy * Build emails using HTML templates, customizing as needed to suit the message and/or asset * Test, evaluate, and benchmark email campaigns to uncover opportunities to maximize lead flowCreate automation programs to track performance of downloadable web assets and webcasts * Exceptional writing and editing skills

**Requirements:** * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal * HTML knowledge * Previous experience with any Email Service Provider (MailChip, Constant Contact, etc.) * Demonstrated technical aptitude with a software application/tool (WordPress, Virb, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, etc.) * Attention to detail * Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers * Ability to implement creative and innovative solutions * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office * Pursuing or recently obtained bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
