Summary
TripAdvisor is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the day-to-day product development efforts for SeatGuru. This role will lead our SeatGuru product efforts across all platforms desktop, tablet, phone web and native app. With SeatGuru’s millions of monthly unique users, you will have the opportunity to guide the brand to the next level across all facets strategy, traffic, product, revenue this is truly a high impact / high opportunity type role. You will be responsible for helping craft a strategy and vision, defining and defending a product roadmap, and leading a cross-functional team from business requirements to post-launch. Ultimately, this Senior Product Manager is responsible for the success of the SeatGuru brand, including hitting and exceeding financial targets.
Responsibilities
* Ideate and execute the product strategy and brand for SeatGuru * Lead cross-functional teams to develop a roadmap, create product definitions, establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle * Research, troubleshoot, diagnose and recommend solutions to increasingly complex business, UX or UI challenges * Develop fully detailed specs that include use cases, requirements, goals and page mock-ups for new mobile features * Identify and analyze the key performance indicators measuring post launch product success * Manage prioritization of new feature enhancements and bug/fixes * Take calculated, smart risks to push the envelope. Sometimes these risks will fail (which is ok), but you will learn from these risks and continue to push the product forward to meet aggressive KPIs
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in, and passion for, the air travel industry * Entrepreneurial passion and innovative mindset * Minimum of 4 years of experience in a B2C product management role * Results oriented, with a history of driving impact * Proficiency with agile development and teams * Metrics focused and driven. Analytical * Mobile experience a plus * Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize * Excellent communications skills, written and verbal * Must be a team-player and a history of collaborative success * Must be able to perform customary physical duties and meet appropriate social expectations of a professional office environment
