Summary
Viator is changing how travelers experience the world, offering access to the best tours and attractions. As a key part of the design team you will work with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to create high quality, compelling experiences that help our customers fulfill their dreams. Successful candidates for this position have a passion for customer-centered design principles, a love of design and learning, and a strong attention to detail. You are collaborative and open-minded, working as a team to help us visualize the next generation of product thinking. You crave constructive feedback and understand how to iterate on your ideas to bring the best experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead your cross-functional team through brainstorms, discussions, and design reviews * Leverage your experience turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences with focus on clarity and efficacy. * Develop information architecture, interaction models, customer flows, schematics, prototypes, and visual design for products and services. * Design new flows and templates as well as smaller, iterative changes to challenge our assumptions, validate our hypotheses, and optimize our experiences. * Be a standard-bearer for quality design with typography, layout, color, and photography * Assist the team in the iteration of our design and development processes * Work across teams to evolve our design and CSS pattern libraries
