Marketing Copywriter

Viator is searching for a talented, multifaceted lead copywriter with the experience and imagination to make huge contributions to our busy, fast-paced marketing and product teams. The ideal candidate combines the brand strategy thinking of an agency copywriter with the results-oriented mindset of the most creative DR efforts.

• Write marketing copy for a variety of placements including banner copy, site copy, promotional communication, email and other materials as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing managers to hone strategy and messaging for projects.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the marketing creative team by adding new ideas and approaches for Viator marketing objectives.
• Act on relevant marketing metrics to continually refine the copy efforts of the marketing team.

• Strong portfolio showing a variety of marketing executions with a focus on digital
• Mastery of standard English spelling, grammar, and style
• Experience in e-commerce
• Excellent communication skills and ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others
• Someone used to working with cross-departmental teams and stakeholders at a variety of levels
• Travel marketing experience desired but not required
• Knowledge of travel at a tours and activities level preferred but not required
• 3-5 years relevant experience at an ad agency or in-house creative team with a strong focus on digital marketing
