Logistics Coordinator

This position is responsible for understanding our clients’ transportation requirements, planning the appropriate resources and procuring and scheduling the proper transportation solution. This position coordinates these services in a manner which meets the client’s service requirements and maximizes both cost savings for our clients and TRIOSE’s overall revenue.

* Routes all modes of freight for vendors and hospital clients. * Identifies and acts on opportunities to grow volume and profitability of Freight Services business. * Assists in the identification of opportunities for new services and for enhancement and development of existing services. * Acts as a liaison with transportation providers. * Coordinates/conducts meetings with transportation providers. * Gathers current marketplace information on pricing, new services, etc. * Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management. * Developing and maintaining relationships with current customers and hospital suppliers.

* High level of integrity and dependability * Demonstrated professionalism and effective interpersonal skills * Demonstrated organizational and time management skills * Proficient Microsoft Office skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills * Minimum 2 years work experience in transportation purchasing across all modes is required. * Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. * Healthcare or supply chain experience is a plus. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
