Back End Web Developer

A Back End Developer to collaborate with our existing team of front and back end developers. The successful candidate will have strong experience developing and maintaining server-side logic; defining and maintaining code repositories, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. The engineer will work closely with other software engineers, our marketing team and QA personnel to create high quality and high performing solutions.

* Assist in architecting and building scalable web solutions including Wordpress driven CMS and websites * Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules, Plugins * Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges * Integration of data storage solutions such as MySQL * Build and document new features * Work with existing front and back end development teams to enhance existing applications and advance our organization’s web presence and infrastructure. * Independently design/code in PHP, MySQL and MongoDB. * Build scalable architecture including custom CMS * Provide recommendations to our team regarding best practice and product selection.

* 4 -8 years of back-end software development experience * Knowledge and well versed in available web technologies, tools, and frameworks such as (but not limited to); PHP (Zend), MsSQL, Javascript (Expert) * Experience with high volume B2C web based applications. * Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. * Must be able to take direction, work well as part of a team, and independently.
