We’re on a mission to ensure business leaders connect seamlessly with their customers and teams, but in order to do that we need them to find us online first, and we're looking for someone to help us improve our standing in this area.

* Produce long-form content such as e-books, white papers, case studies, infographics, etc. that position us as a valued source of top-quality of information and perspective in our space (for some great examples of the kind of content we're shooting for, check out the resources sections of Invoca and Intercom) * Analyze search trends in Google and ensure that our on-page content, metadata, etc. are capitalizing on traffic opportunities that exist in our space * Manage our backlink profile with a focus on attracting high quality links naturally * You'll be expected to build relationships with other businesses, communities, and influencers online to facilitate this * Report on how our performance is changing over time, specifically how many keywords are ranking, how many keywords are on the first page of Google, how our backlink profile is evolving, and how overall traffic is increasing each month

* B.A. or equivalent degree preferred * 3+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated success driving substantial increases in ranking and traffic * Excellent writing skills and ability to provide strong creative direction to designers * Please be prepared to provide samples of past work * Solid understanding of SEO best practices and hunger to stay abreast of news and trends in SEO and online marketing * Experience working with a variety of different technical and business intelligence SEO tools * Data-driven, critical thinker with highly organized mindset and resourceful problem solving
