Mobile Application Developer

Through our two brands, tresta.com and patlive.com, we are improving the way businesses communicate by offering cloud-based phone systems and award winning virtual receptionist services.

Tresta is looking for a smart, proactive developer who has a genuine love for problem solving. While our Tech team is a small group (15 people), its impact throughout the company is huge, and we want the kind of person who gets excited about the opportunity to play a key role in what’s happening. As part of this team, you will build, deploy, and maintain web-based communication services used by over 15,000 customers across North America, as we work to help take business phone systems from the hardware closet to the cloud.

* Developing a mobile application using React Native, ES6+ * Using Swift 2 and Java to interop with the native iOS and Android platforms * Implementing voip functionality on the mobile platform * Backend development using Erlang and/or NodeJS * Note: It would be great if you’re an expert in all of these technologies (Swift, Java, Erlang, and JavaScript), but we don’t expect you to be. Strong skills in either Swift or Java will suffice, and you’ll be learning the others as you go.

* 2 - 4+ years of practice, real-world experience. Be able to show us how you've provided value to the teams and organizations you have worked with * Previous experience building and deploying a non-trivial mobile application * Proven ability and desire to learn a variety of things quickly. For example, you should be up to the challenge of learning "R" today, and FreeSwitch dialplans next month * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
