EDGE Non Program Intern

The Travelers EDGE internships will offer EDGE Scholars’ insight into multiple disciplines within Travelers. Interns will be given exposure to Human Resources, Finance, Underwriting, Claim, Information Technology and Marketing

• Technical Skills: should be an intermediate user of Excel, Power Point, and Word. Knowledge of Access and SharePoint is a plus but not required.
• Self- Management skills: organized, good time management skills, self- starter, detail oriented and follow-through.
• Project Management skills: ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and willingness to work on a variety of assignments.
• Able to prioritize work flow and manage both long term and short term project deadlines at the same time.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates agility to quickly learn and gather information.
• Collaborative/Team oriented.
• Self-aware and adaptable to change.
• Up for a challenge!

• Must be a current Travelers EDGE Scholar and attending the University of Connecticut (UConn) or Central Connecticut State University (CCSU)
• 3.0 + GPA is required
• Must be enrolled in one of the following majors:
