Transportation Planner

The Orlando, FL office is seeking a Transportation Planner that is well versed in various planning disciplines and is willing to take on new and exciting challenges. The right candidate should have experience in multi-modal transportation projects, land use and demographic information assessments, and have well-developed writing abilities. This individual will focus on projects in Florida, but may be involved in projects in other parts of the United States based on need and interest.

* Conduct planning research, analyses, and documentation for various multi-modal transportation projects and tasks. * Assist in preparing professional documents and technical memoranda describing analyses and results and providing recommendations. * Assist with the development and implementation of comprehensive public involvement programs to support our project engagement. * Conducting analyses and preparing maps and exhibits using ESRI GIS software. * Independently performing task assignments with instructions from Project Manager or other team members. * Assist with research and analyses for the pursuit of future projects and business development initiatives. * Compile and analyze data on site conditions, compliance reviews and facilitation and implementation of programs and services required by federal, state and local legislation. * Occasionally participate in field reviews and on-site inspections, inventorying and documentation of existing site conditions.

**Basic Qualifications:** * One to three years of experience in the transportation and land use planning * Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field or equivalent work experience * Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) **Preferred Qualifications:** * Working knowledge of ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS)
