Civil Engineer

TranSystems brings innovative consulting, engineering and architectural solutions to solve the nation's transportation infrastructure challenges.

• Copies sketches, layouts, and drawings prepared by others on to AutoCAD.
• Will learn proficiency in operation of computer-aided drafting and design input station.
• Assignments of increasing difficulty will be submitted as proficiency is increased.
• Understand and follow the company's standard AutoCAD procedures for levels, line styles, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
• Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
• Maintain neat and orderly work area that will allow access to project information to other team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Junior level or higher in education
• 0 GPA
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Local candidates preferred, no relocation assistance provided
