Summary
Our Norwalk Connecticut office is currently looking for an entry level Architectural designer to join the team. This office is comprised of a team of architects and interior designers, and the team works on a variety of projects, including aviation architecture and retail in airports. This individual will work with the team as well as individually on projects and must be self-motivated to complete projects in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepares architectural plans and renderings, including proposals, schematic design documents, and construction documents with guidance and supervision - Assists other in programming, building cost analysis, specifications and materials, code research, construction administration and project management. - Encouraged to try to solve problems using judgment and education, but is expected to ask for assistance when needed. - Keeps Senior Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services. - Maintains company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations - Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a four-year accredited college or university. - Working knowledge of Revit, Auto CAD, Microsoft Word and Excel - Experience in Architectural-focused office/industry - Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint. 3-D Studio Max is a plus.
