Localization Engineer

Translations.com’s GlobalLink technology team is looking for a mid to senior level Localization Engineer to join our team. This is an amazing career growth opportunity for an ambitious and technically skilled candidate. The successful candidate would work alongside GlobalLink Product Managers and Solution Engineers, assisting in enterprise client technology rollouts as well as validating features in our TM Server and Analysis Package products. * Assist both internal teams and clients with their requests regarding file parsers and TM management. * TM leverage optimization * Work closely with Software Product Managers to * Collect user stories from product stakeholders * Define new features and improvements of the software products * Provide test cases for QA * Provide documentation and training to product users both internal and external

* Fluent in English * Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university * 1-3 years of experience in Localization Engineering * Knowledge of Translation Memory Tools * Knowledge of Software Localization tools * Knowledge of Localization CAT tools * Some knowledge of computer languages (VB, VBA, C++), scripting (Perl, ASP, Java, JSP) and markup languages (XML, HTML, XLIFF) * Some knowledge of regular expression and Xpath * Knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux platforms * Strong communication and organizational skills * Exceptional attention to detail * A team player **Desired Skills** * Experience in DTP
