Specialist - Production Control BPSM

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead standardization and continuous improvement activities to the Plant Production Control business process and systems for enhanced profitability and self reliance.

* Develop testing and training tools for PC systems; such as Internal Logistics Management System for internal logistics. * Lead system crisis recovery for abnormal conditions. * Manage system and process Key Performance Indicators. * Lead multiple PC projects with plant organization. * Manage system continuous improvement and new development projects and other production and logistics systems. * Gather user requirements and technical concepts that manifest into $50k-$3M systems. * Serve as a governance role in maintaining standard use of data and tools. * Day to day parts ordering and logistics (planning/operations) issue resolution. * Strong contributor to the annual planning and functional objectives of PC in North America.

* BA or BS Degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Engineering or Computer Science. * Experience in a manufacturing operations based team organization. * Experience in project management of systems implementation. * Experience in manufacturing control systems such as Assy. Line Control and/or eKanban system. * Approx. 10-25% per week overtime. * Approx. 10-15% travel. **Preferred:** * Experience with automotive process or parts flow system development.
