Decision Research Analyst

Tower Hill Insurance Group has an exciting opportunity for a talented Decision Research Analyst who enjoys intellectual challenge and seeks a rewarding career with a company that is experiencing growth.

* Maintain an understanding of rating procedures for existing programs * Analyze and interpret insurance products and related business requirements * Develop and maintain underwriting and rating tools on various system platforms, primarily Excel spreadsheets * Gather and analyze policy data and perform “what-if” rating scenarios * Assist with development and maintenance of rate comparisons * Assist with policy premium determination for other departments * Assist with development of queries to identify policies for the Quality Review Team to use during user acceptance testing and production review

* Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. * 0-2 years of industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. * Strong analytical skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Proficiency with writing formulas and/or programming in Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge and/or experience with SQL is preferred but not required.
