Touch Lab does one thing: make Android Apps. Keeping that focus means we can do things the right way. We're a team of Android experts with ties to Google and the local Android developer community.

touchlab is looking for Android developers to join us in creating high-quality software, solving challenging problems, and defining what a great agile team looks like. Android continues to dominate the smartphone market and will be powering many different types of devices in the years to come. As organizers of the NY Android Developers Meetup and Droidcon NYC, touchlab provides great opportunities for developers to contribute to the Android community and increase their visibility. We're also launching a whole new suite of open source tools for cross-platform development (it's Android first, don't worry). You'll get plenty of opportunities to publish open source tools to the community!

* Build quality applications based on product requirements * Bring design mock-ups to life and create attractive UI’s * Perform peer code reviews and help us all get better * Improve our process in weekly retrospectives

* Strong Java/OOP skills. * Android/iOS development experience * Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and good version control practices * Experience with common libraries such as Retrofit, RXJava, Mockito a plus * Github and/or StackOverflow profiles. They carry a lot of weight, so please forward links and/or published apps if you have them.
