Tile has invented a simple and sleek location tracking app that can be used to track any item users don’t want to misplace. Users can place small, affordable Tiles on wallets, purses, computers, luggage, etc., allowing them to communicate within the world’s largest lost and found network.
Summary
As a Web UX Designer, your mission is to help us tell an engaging story while creating a delightful e-commerce experience, from website navigation to checkout to transactional emails. You’ll partner with marketers, engineers, researchers and other designers to plan, build and test your designs. You’ll be involved in every aspect of the development cycle, from concepting what we build to tweaking pixels before launch.

**You’re great for this role if you:** * Think in systems and see how lots of pieces can fit together * Are driven by a passion for great visual design to deliver solutions that are creatively inspired * Are focused on user behavior and can iterate based on real-world feedback and data * Are flexible and can tackle different types of projects at once * Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment * Love Tile, technology and user-centered design **What you’ll do:** * Design information architecture, user flows, and visual systems that tell compelling stories across the Tile website * Create simple, clean and elegant creative assets * Partner with engineering on implementation and QA * Give and receive design feedback with fellow teammates * Help evolve the design discipline at Tile * Constantly prioritize the backlog of testing ideas
Ideal Candidate
* Strong portfolio of web design work, ideally in e-commerce * 5+ years in web design, preferably for a retail e-commerce company * Experience with an iterative design process: incorporating feedback, launching quickly, and testing hypotheses * Writes well and understands the basics of content strategy * Ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the e-commerce business * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other prototyping tools
