Materials Manager

Tiffany & Co. operates jewelry and specialty retail stores and manufactures products through its subsidiary corporations. Its principal subsidiary is Tiffany and Company.

This position will manage all of the Inventory Control, Inventory Receiving, Picking, and Cycle Counting Processes. This position will develop the hourly workforce to be flexible in order to meet changing requirements in demand.

• Manage business controls, processes, and employees relating to Inventory Control, Shipping, Receiving and refining activities in order to ensure 96+% accuracy, asset protection, and 95+% on-time delivery of products
• Work with employees across all business functions to ensure a continuous improvement approach to safety is achieved. Achieve zero lost time incidents within the Inventory Control Area
• Maintain a flow of product to and from Manufacturing Operations to ensure that business goals for OTD and quality are met, daily
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley Key Controls are effective, as well as properly documented, tested and reported on a timely basis
• Build partnerships within and across departments to promote efficiency and create a supportive work environment

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ experience in Materials Management (Manager or above)
• Effective knowledge and abilities using PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Project
• Experience working in an integrated ERP environment
• Good communication skills
• Team player/Team building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• APICS Certification
