Email Marketing Associate, Customer Marketing

From plumbers and painters to DJs and personal trainers, Thumbtack helps millions of customers find the right professional for their project in over 1,000 categories.

The Email Marketing Associate will lead all B2C email marketing efforts to better retain and engage Thumbtack’s millions of customers.

* Develop our customer email marketing strategy, and work with marketing, product, and creative teams to bring it to life * Design and iterate on email marketing campaigns in our ESP, Responsys (working closely with our central Email Ops team) * Own the email optimization testing and iteration plan * Manage the customer list and segmentation approach * Be the voice of the customer for customer email, working with copywriting, photography, brand, and design teams to ensure consistent, on-brand email approach

**About you** * You’re passionate about marketing that delivers large and measurable results for the business * You are a highly analytical, structured thinker * You know how to make big things come to life - you can guide the efforts of cross-functional partners and external contractors to build a large and complex program * You empathize with Thumbtack’s customers and are excited to build email programs that add value to their lives **Requirements** * 2+ years experience in B2C marketing, growth, analytics, consulting, or finance * Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Product and Ops teams * Strong analytical skillset, including extensive hands on experience in excel * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Bonus Points** * Experience building or managing a B2C email program at scale * Experience in lifecycle marketing, engagement marketing, or CRM * Experience at a high growth tech company * Experience with SQL
