Restaurant Venues Editor

Thrillist is the essential resource for how to spend your time and money. We cover all the stuff you love – food, drink, travel, tech, cars, sex, dating, health, and entertainment – with expertise, passion, and taste.

• Work with our Cities team to create venues for thousands of restaurants a year
• Write venues yourself, in addition to editing others' writing, and giving comprehensive feedback
• Ensure incredibly high standards of reporting and unique knowledge on each individual venue
• Source beautiful, representative photos for each venue
• Track closings to ensure that all our venues are reliable and, well, still open
• Work with staff and freelancers in various cities, and manage a workflow with a lot of moving parts in a highly streamlined manner
• Work with various members of our edit team to create new and interesting ways to package and showcase our venues

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of digital publishing experience as an editor
• Experience managing staff writers and freelancers
• An abiding love for food and drink, and not just to ensure you continue to survive
• The ability to write incredibly detailed, interesting entries in small spaces, and coach others to do the same
• A commitment to creative thinking that will drive our overall usage of venues to amazing new places
