Customer Service Representative 1

This position is fully responsible for processing a large volume of daily orders from receipt to invoicing. It’s fast-paced, challenging, complex, and demanding. It is not an entry-level position. The learning curve is steep and productivity must be achieved within the first 30-days.

* Communicate directly with distributors, retailers, brokers, and sales managers * Process and manage orders * Resolve order and shipping problems * Maintain files and keep work in-progress moving * Complete invoicing and order completion documents * Coordinate issues with other department * Manage inventories, ship dates, and transportation * This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned

* High School Diploma or equivalent * Two years of customer service /order entry/inside sales experience preferred * Excellent interpersonal skills * Good math and organizational skills * Strong communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment * Must be very accurate with a well-developed attention to detail * Team player and problem solver * Support and model all company procedures and policies * Must embrace and demonstrate The Wine Group Core Values - Performance, Empowered and Cost-mindful, and keep them in mind when making all decisions **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** * Primary work activities are within an office environment
