Summary

Original Programming Coordinator will provide structure and organization to the OP team’s daily operations. S/he will be responsible for all administrative duties to support the OP department, as well as assist with production and asset management.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage OP digital masters and assets
  • Supervise and organize promo clips for social and on-air broadcast. Work closely with Live and Marketing to create clips
  • Log and track all shows that are targeting for acquisition, as well as search out new titles and distributers. Also track all new development submissions
  • Log and track our vendor, contractor and staff lists in support of OP production
  • Research and draft internal development/production ideas, department materials and perform additional special projects, including development research
  • Help develop short-form digital content for social and OTT
  • Work closely with other department assistants, coordinators and executives to ensure good communication and workflow between Original Programming and other divisions
  • Be a general guru on the cable TV & digital/OTT landscape: know what's on what network, what's working, what's trending and what's not
Ideal Candidate

Education, Experience, Certification Requirements

  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience (or equivalent internships) working within studio, network or other television environment
  • BA or equivalent required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent Written/Verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Production experience a plus
  • Solution oriented and able to problem-solve effectively and pro-actively.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and Final Cut Pro, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) skills required
