Summary
The Campaign Measurement & Systems Manager is responsible for two main disciplines within the Digital Ad Operations department, both directed at enabling success in campaign optimization and measurement implementation. The role facilitates the integration of tools and systems providing campaign performance metrics into the Ad Ops workflow, with a full understanding of site, operational, and campaign reporting impacts. In addition, the role partners with internal teams such as Ad Operations and AdFX Measurement in an effort to bring oversight to campaign measurement implementation and performance optimization processes.
Responsibilities
**Campaign Measurement Implementation Strategy:** - Act as intermediary between the AdFX Measurement team and Ad Operations teams as learnings are identified from campaigns and need to be periodically explored and communicated for proper ad product utilization and standardizing measurement solutions. - Lead campaign implementation requirements based on measurement initiatives incorporated into strategic buys. - Provide counsel and training for Ad Ops Managers within each region on optimization strategies for campaigns focusing on complex KPIs, often enabling multiple metric touchpoints to analyze performance. This can include KPIs such as deriving ROI based on acquisition details or an intersection of both viewability and In-Demo performance, etc. - Routinely connect and collaborate with Ad Ops Managers regarding best practices on: conversion pixel implementation and analysis, viewability reporting and optimizations, non-standard campaign research study implementation, audience performance and insights, analyzing attribution and engagement data, etc. - Act as escalation contact for troubleshooting any technical issue related to a specific campaign's performance and insight measurement (i.e. vendor/campaign reporting investigations, viewability tracking analysis, technical implementation functionality, etc.). - Identify training gaps to Ad Ops leaders and help produce continued education materials in an effort to increase skill set for the Ad Ops department. - Responsible for measuring, tracking and analyzing ad incidents such as missed opportunities and technical issues and communicating revenue impact and action items to various internal teams including Sales. **Systems & Vendor Management:** - Collaborate with the Director of National Ad Ops, Measurement, Data Services, Ad Products & Yield/Analytics teams to develop and enhance Ad Ops capabilities, tools, and systems in supporting Sales initiatives with campaign performance optimizations in order to provide our marketers with the best in class performance, insights, and value. - Help identify gaps in business rule risk management in addition to reporting needs. Work with Data Integration and Data Services to write requirements and to build and validate necessary business rule management and report functions. - Validate and QA any new system, platform or product implementation to ensure the Ad Operations piece passes business rule, reporting, billing, and data requirements. - Assist with vendor relations with The MediaTrust and Ad-Juster for screenshot servicing and third-party delivery data integrations. - Be the Ad Ops Point of Contact for Moat and Lotame in regards to engagement and audience analysis, in addition to on-boarding new metrics and audience solutions. - Act as intermediary between the Director of Ad Operations and Maxifier in order to effectively utilize the system within defined guidelines and business practices. Produce and update documentation to be communicated to the Ad Ops teams in an effort to increase optimization efficiency. - Assist the Ad Operations team with various system upgrade testing, new platform testing, Ad Operations QA needs, especially when strategic campaigns are affected. - Provide additional performance ad hoc analysis for better visibility and insight into platforms utilizing various system reporting, historical analysis, and additional data integration resources.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor degree or equivalent in Analytics, Quantitative Methods, Statistics or related quantitative field * 5 years of professional experience **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** * Ability to work as a self-starter with minimum supervision * Comfortable with fast-paced, results-oriented environment * Exceptional analytical skills * Proven ability to operate strategically and tactically as the situation demands; results oriented

Working Conditions

The Weather Channel operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hours worked by The Weather Channel associates will vary according to job responsibility and scheduling demands of each department.
