Responsibilities
* Actively participating in the annual and monthly budgeting process for Corporate departments including allocations of Corporate charges to TJX’s business units. * Creating and updating reconciliations of actuals vs. annual / monthly budgets and messaging those reconciliations to Corporate departments / TJX’s business units. * Serving as a go-to Finance resource for senior management of multiple Corporate departments. * Preparing monthly consolidated company sales and related schedules for distribution to senior TJX management. * Creating and updating periodic reporting on various metrics including inventory, open-to-buy, etc. * Preparing various schedules to support TJX’s CEO / CFO during quarterly earnings releases / Board of Director meetings. * Performing various ad-hoc analyses related to all of the above.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills. * Ability to work within tight deadlines and on multiple projects within a team environment. * Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including high level of attention to detail and a willingness to drive change. * Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. * Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and experience presenting to senior management. Experience communicating with individuals outside of Finance discipline preferred but not required. * 3-5 years of past FP&A experience preferred. * Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar discipline, MBA a plus.
