Summary
The TJX Maxx Brand Marketing/Advertising Specialist is responsible for the execution of multiple advertising components within seasonal programs and department-driven initiatives advertising. This can include brand photography, direct mail, radio, TV/video, signage and digital/social. The Specialist is responsible for his or her individual project management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing creative briefs, providing direction to the creative departments, evaluating creative and providing feedback - Understanding and being knowledgeable of pertinent merchandise information - Photo shoot management: reviewing photography estimates for approval; overseeing pre-production meetings with creative team and brand; obtaining final merchandise approval and determining final shot list; overseeing on-site photo shoot management for the brand - Working very closely with the social/digital group on daily Facebook, twitter and Instagram postings, ensuring assets for the ecommerce, digital/mobile and social are met - Collaborating with partners in internal media, creative and production departments in order to ensure seamless execution of projects - Assist in partnering with Store Operations to define necessary communication to stores for in-store execution of marketing materials - Assist in the approval of the final creative. - Assist in supervising and overseeing print and collateral projects and recommending direction to Manager of Marketing. - Assist with the production of Radio Advertising - Prioritizing and planning to successfully meet all project deadlines; demonstrating initiative on projects; anticipating and developing solutions to problems; utilizing sound and logical judgment when making decision - Responsible for budgets associated with given projects; maintains and reports the budgets of defined areas; suggests opportunities to control costs
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/ Marketing strongly preferred - 2 + years of DIRECTLY related practical skills within Advertising or Brand Marketing for either an Ad Agency or B2C client. MUST have experience driven advertising, marketing or promotions projects from strategy to life. - Former e-commerce marketing experience a preferred, but not required. - Integrated media experience with a balance between broadcast, print and digital/social. - Strong communication (written and spoken) skills and organizational skills - Ability to multitask under pressure and deadlines - Strong fashion, trend and retail awareness - Excellent presentation and influencing skills - Developed leadership skills - Team player and contributor
