Summary
Responsible for project activity and cross-functional area teams resolving quality issues and improving quality systems to protect brand image, ensure customer satisfaction, and support plant goals. Responsible for ensuring product conforms to internal and external requirements and will drive and support Quality Systems, TQMS, procedure maintenance and new procedure implementation. Also responsible for managing external quality complaints by communicating corrective tactics to customers. This position will support continuous process improvements, investigate customer complaints and develop corrective actions while addressing root cause.
Responsibilities
* Drive all elements of 8D techniques to investigate root cause analysis, perform effective corrective action, and prevent reoccurrence of significant quality issues and customer complaints. * Support efforts to resolve and eliminate internal nonconformances. * Create and analyze process and machine capability studies, and gauge R&R studies, to identify opportunities for systemic improvement in quality and cost. 4. Support teams to execute continuous improvement plans to agreed-upon goals and budget. * Support L6S teams, Kaizen events as requested through consultation and analysis. * Assist in audit preparation (ISO9001, customer, internal) and execution as requested, to include work instruction audit or revision, floor audits, best practice research and training. * Write and revise Quality Management System procedures for use throughout the organization.
Ideal Candidate
* Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. B.S. in Engineering preferred. * Previous Work Experience desired: Quality Management System - Write, revise, and audit procedures. Continuous Improvement - Investigate and develop corrective actions. ASQ Certification preferred.
