Forklift Operator (CMDF) SBS Task Order

Our company’s roots are in the Alaska Native Village of Tatitlek, located in the shelter of Copper Mountain along the Tatitlek Narrows in beautiful Prince William Sound.

Forklift Operator performs a wide range of tasks in scheduling, coordinating, and working within CMDF (Controlled Material Destruction Facility).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Required to do extensive manual labor
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to operate forklift
• Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver license
• Must have and maintain Secret Security Clearance

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work alone
• Other assigned or essential duties as required

Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:

• Possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
• Knowledge and uses of Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Able to operate well in challenging work environments with variable requirements.
• Able to operate a personal computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, required for performing work.
• Be a legal resident of the United States of America and possess the appropriate documents to legally work within the U.S. territory.
• Must have a valid driver license without restrictions and possess dependable/reliable transportation.
• Must be able to operate and drive a government vehicle in the performance of their duties.
