etwork Administrator - CSCS

Our company’s roots are in the Alaska Native Village of Tatitlek, located in the shelter of Copper Mountain along the Tatitlek Narrows in beautiful Prince William Sound.

The Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) has a requirement for Network Information Management, technical and operational support services to include the following work areas: Computer and Local Area Network (LAN) Administration, Cyber Security Support, Functional Area Needs Analysis, System Certification and Accreditation, Technical Documentation, Research, and Technical Helpdesk Support within the CSCS domain.

The Network Administrator provides support in setting up, configuring and supporting internal and external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security and network configurations

• Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan
• Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment
• Provides technical support and guidance to CSCS domain users

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is desired
• 3 to 5+ years previous related experience and/or training.
• Top Secret/SCI
• DoD 8570.01 M IAT Level II
• US Citizenship required US Citizenship required.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint) is required.
• Proficiency using KACE and Foundstone are a big plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in the preparation and presentation of technical briefs.
