Summary
Create, analyze and evaluate producer contracting for compliance related to specific products, approve contracting applications and ensure accurate and timely processing of producer compensation. Serve as a resource on complex contracting and producer administration issues.
Responsibilities
Serve as initial point of entry for all producer information. Make recommendations to Management for contract applications that do not meet set qualifications. Investigate complex, multi-state legislative and regulatory developments for compliance with our due diligence programs. Analyze and implement forms of compensation, payment procedures and tax reporting related to producer compensation. Provide quality review of producer compensation information for accuracy, consistency with request and compliance. Develop management reports regarding producer compensation. Work effectively with external customers and Home Office personnel through negotiation, communication and problem resolution regarding producer administration programs. Test all changes. Participate in special projects or assignments, process improvements and revision of procedures.
Ideal Candidate
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or specialized coursework and/or training in insurance or risk management preferred. Experience: 2 to 3 years related work experience with emphasis in contracts, legal, accounting, customer services, and/or insurance, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.Knowledge of contract and commission structures for 2-3 business lines. Ability to calculate complicated commission arrangements using mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to work with MS Windows, Excel and Word.
