Summary
The opportunity is to become part of a fast-growing and exciting GSE Lender, RICHMAC Funding, reporting to the nationally known and respected, Mat Wambua, a former head of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Responsibilities
The position involves working closely with other members of the firm’s origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing staffs and will entail extensive interaction with RICHMAC colleagues. Important will be a working knowledge of HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac finance programs along with LIHTC programs. The individual(s) in this position will be proven, hardworking and of high integrity. Initial compensation commensurate with experience and historical results.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required. * At least 5 years of origination experience working with developers, some of which can include in the underwriting role. * Strong knowledge of, and experience with, multifamily and GSE real estate financing, underwriting principals and LIHTC rules required. * Strong customer service skills and attention to detail required given need to initiate with and respond to clients in a timely and professional manner that often involves very stressful situations. * Must demonstrate excellent communication, analytical and organization skills. * Requires an independent worker with strong client management skills, excellent accuracy/attention to details, and an ability to adjust to ever changing business environment. * Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. * Ability to travel for developer and GSE meetings.
