Inside Technical Sales

Based in Amelia Island, Florida, The Recruiting Group, Inc. is a preeminent national search firm catering to a number of industries. We work across all sizes of organizations from emerging regional companies and smaller start-ups to Fortune 100 Corporations.

The Inside Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for lead generation for the field sales team, along with coordination of sales activities for high volume products and accessories. The territory area of responsibility will consist of the United States and the Caribbean.

* Primary responsibilities include development, administration, delivery and management of telephone and e-mail-based sales campaigns to target markets and segments for the purpose of lead and revenue generation for analytical instrumentation. * The Inside Technical Sales Representative will also be responsible for sales coordination of specified products, parts and accessories across dedicated product lines including the company’s webshop/e-store. * Identifies best product for customer’s application and forwards leads to field sales, as appropriate based upon customer need analysis. * Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to cultivating new business. Strong analytical problem solving skills and strong math skills. * Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license and passport. * Occasional overnight travel will be required, approximately 10%

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or physics or similar scientific field or a strong technical aptitude with a B.S. degree in Business or MBA. Prior field sales experience would be beneficial, but is not required. Previous inside sales experience is desirable – preferably at least 2 – 3 years. Strong written and oral communication skills and be capable of communicating equally well across company lines i.e. with C-level, Ph.D.-level scientists and technicians.
