General Responsibilities Include: - Create interesting and creative stories and angles that promote the company, productions, and dancers - Handle media requests, research media contacts, and maintain media database - Assist with the creation and distribution of materials, including media releases, listings, photo ops, invitations, and bios - Plan and coordinate media nights, conferences, special events, photo and video shoots and interviews as well as collect RSVPs - Create and facilitate engaging content for social media - Manage photo and video database - Track coverage, monitor online newsroom and prepare media summary reports - General administrative duties

Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years publicity experience - Degree in Public Relations or Communications - Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail - Positive and enthusiastic attitude with ability to build a rapport with the media - Team player, able to multi-task and produce under high pressure situations - Creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to consistently deliver new ideas - Strong computer skills, an exposure to video and Photoshop an asset - An appreciation and a passion for the performing arts
