Managed Care Analyst

Designs and develops ad hoc and standard financial analyses for the assessment of existing and future managed care payor contracts. . Assists in reimbursement model development and negotiation strategies. Prepares reports and data extracts from existing operational systems and contract modeling software to support projects, medical cost assessments, and ongoing payor performance monitoring. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Five to seven years experience in financial or data analysis position.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare financial management environment.
• Well developed verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong PC application skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with healthcare decision support systems.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare billing and collection environment.
