Summary

We are currently seeking a Digital Inside Sales Representative for our Advertising Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales growth (up/cross-sell of existing) and retention of current business.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and cold call prospective new business within identified categories of opportunity.

  • Target and build relationships with existing clients and potential clients.

  • Create recommendations after gaining an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, needs and ROI requirements through a CIA.

  • Service the clients if any post-sale issues occur.

  • Process creative/scheduling requests through Sales Associates.

  • Identify and transition leads if they require field coverage.

  • Provide results of a campaign to clients through screen-sharing and/or over the phone.

  • Participate in on-going training regarding products, sales, and processes.

  • Able to execute Inside Retail KPIs including call volume and other sales activities.

  • Learn and understand the features/benefits of digital, print and direct marketing products.

  • Smoothly transition accounts to and from other teams as necessary based on spending level and customer needs

  • Manages a quick sales cycle well
  • Is able to make an immediate connection with a client over the phone
  • Understands each client and their unique business needs in order to provide ROI-impactful solutions.
  • Exhibits technical competency, e.g. updating our CRM
  • Thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Able to source leads and converse with prospects
  • Willing to delegate non-sales activities to Ad Operations
  • Publishing, advertising or media experience preferred.
  • At least three (3 years) sales experience. Telemarketing sales experience preferred.
  • High School - Required, College - Preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
