Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer

- A direct report of the Wastewater Treatment/Utilities Superintendent - Assists the Superintendent in managing, monitoring, maintaining, trouble-shooting, and optimizing the industrial water and wastewater treatment process, pumping stations, reservoirs, distribution systems and sewers - Work directly with operators in maintaining and monitoring systems to ensure safety, environmental compliance with state and federal operating regulations - Coordinate and plan projects and trials - Maintain a work environment/culture that fosters efficiency, effectiveness, high morale and environmentally clean workplace - Provide new and innovative approaches to solving wastewater and utilities challenges - Analyze data and provide technical recommendations based on findings - Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

**Required:** - Bachelor's degree in either Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Environmental engineering - Minimum of three (3) or more years of industrial waste water treatment or related experience - Possess an understanding of biological wastewater treatment fundamentals - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills - Effective interpersonal and communication skills - Being professional and working in a courteous manner is essential **Considered a plus:** - Graduate degree/ Professional certification - Working knowledge of SAP system
