Customer Service Representative

Lubrizol produces and supplies technologies to customers in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets.

* Receives and handles customer orders, performs order entry and invoicing functions under limited supervision by another experienced CSR, Team Lead or Manager. * Handles basic inquiries from customers. * Handles assigned region. * Performs back-up function for other CSR’s. * Understands returned goods policy. * Identifies need to update customer master file and notifies appropriate person. * Communicates order problems and inquires with appropriate Supply Chain Planner and or Account Manager. * Responds to customer's inquiries.

* High School Diploma or equivalent degree. * Minimum (2) two years customer service experience in a manufacturing company. * Knowledge of SAP. * Experience with SAP or other integrated order entry or systems software. * Knowledgeable in SAP support systems such as Excel and Access. * Knowledge of transportation. * Basic understanding of transportation terms and modes: Package Truck, Bulk Truck, Bulk Rail, Collect, Prepaid & Add, Prepaid & Allowed, Prepaid & Equalized. * Recognizes and understands credit holds. * Knowledge of inventory management. * Basic understanding of supply and demand. * Understands where problems exist and quickly seeks help in resolution. * Works through issues until a course of action to resolve problems is agreed upon.
