WELDER

Our client is currently seeking a MIG WELDER.

• Fabrication of steel sheet and plate assemblies using MIG welding process.
• Welds must be high quality.
• All staff cross-train to perform a wide range of processes and typically work in a team environment.
• Performs free-hand MIG welding
• Performs plasma cutting steel
• Performs cutting and deburring of metal using cut-off saws, grinders and other tools
• Operates material handling equipment
• Performs other manufacturing processes as required

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to interpret shop blueprints
• Ability to use shop measuring tools
• Minimum 2+ years experience welding in a manufacturing environment
• Will be required to pass skills test for this position
• Works with minimal supervision
• Self starter
• Learns, understands and is able to implement all practices
• 1st shift w/occasional overtime required
