Responsibilities
* Facilitate the product demand in-take & prioritization process * Own relationship with Core Solutions Delivery and Core Engineering team to triage demand, develop business cases, plan projects, align strategic roadmaps against business and IT objectives * Drive delivery of milestones against critical path while ensuring that appropriate governance processes, escalation paths and project management reporting frameworks are in place. Leverage Jira to manage tasks. * Manage and solve complex dependencies and negotiate compromises * Collaborate with the broader product management team to drive standardization of Product and Project management processes, reporting & analytics. * A strong track record of managing expectations at the senior leadership level * Strong written documentation skills to support assessments * Degree in engineering, computer science or technical disciplines preferred * Prior experience managing a large portfolio with multiple programs and resources (budget >$10MM) * Six sigma certification (Green or Black belt in DMAIC and/or DMADV) highly desirable * Hands-on development of project management tooling (Jira) is highly desirable * Ability to write business requirements specifications highly desirable. * Develops and revises project materials and maintains project documentation. Defines and evaluates problems and plans effective solutions. Recommends improvements in project deliverables. Assists in defining the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicates the impact on the organization. Establishes project tasks, timelines and budgets and effectively manages them. Responsible for day to day supervision for a small team of associates; provides coaching and input into the performance mgmt process.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in engineering, computer science or technical disciplines preferred * Prior experience managing a large portfolio with multiple programs and resources (budget >$10MM) * Six sigma certification (Green or Black belt in DMAIC and/or DMADV) highly desirable * Hands-on development of project management tooling (Jira) is highly desirable * Ability to write business requirements specifications highly desirable.
