Accountant

We are seeking a strong Senior Accountant with 4+ years accounting experience working in a high paced environment with hands on accounting and month end close experience. The candidate for this Senior Accountant position must have a stable track record, organized, highly motivated team player with strong initiative and communication skills, a strong understanding of GAAP must have exceptional interpersonal skills while working as part of a successful, high performing accounting team.

• Manage the daily accounting interface from sub ledger to general ledger. Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting transaction.
• Collaborate with business partners to obtain and process accounting transactions.
• Leverage accounting knowledge to challenge current process and recommend and implement process improvement.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is provided.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits.
• Assist with various ad hoc projects
• Assist accounting manager and Director with the month end close process.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement, strong excel skills (pivot, VLOOKUP, sumifs, concatenation etc.), Oracle or large ERP.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Detail oriented and willing to work in a fast paced environment.
