Project Manager

The Judge Group is currently seeking New Product Project Manager for a major technology manufacturer in the Gaithersburg, MD area. The qualified individual will create bills of materials for new products and perform materials management functions.

• Creates bills of materials for new products
• Maintains BOM’s, layouts
• Develops and maintains schedules for new material implementation
• Plans parts requirements by ways of engineering and program management
• Creates and processes new product purchases and order requirements
• Organizes prototypes and pre-production product builds
• Manages new parts inventory control
• Manages rework and scrap
• Provides parts status updates to the new product teams
• Provides the team with total costs of the new product with material and labor
• Develops inventory strategies
• Recommends and implements risk buys on source material
• Works cohesively with cross functional teams including product management Identifies new suppliers

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 2 years of production control
• At least 2 years of material planning
• Knowledge of layouts
• Exceptional experience with BOM’s
• Exceptional knowledge of MRP systems
• Experience with Tier1 electronic manufacturers
