Production Manager

The Judge Group is currently seeking a Assistant Production Manager for a food manufacturing facility located in New Jersey. Candidates must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and must have experience in food or beverage manufacturing.

* Will contribute to the efficient and cost effective management of the production lines to ensure the timely and optimum availability of high quality finished products that are necessary to accommodate sales and customer requirements in a safe and sanitary environment. Will be responsible for: Attainment of facility Food Safety Standards, production of products that meet or exceed customer and product specifications. Food Safety- Compliance to specs, HACCP and GMP's. Attainment of high scores on Quality audits. Reduction of Customer Complaints. * Responsible for maintaining consistency with the hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions taken with production employees. * Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles to ensure continual growth within the company. * This position is required to provide assistance to Research & Development (R&D) in the processing of new products. * Foster a positive working environment ensuring that Policies of the Company and the Company's Code of Conduct are fulfilled. * Ensure the facility and equipment are properly maintained, cleaned, and sanitized on a daily basis to produce products that meet all Food Safety standards.

* Bachelor’s Degree preferred although not required 5+ years of managing salaried supervisors in a food or beverage manufacturing facility * Experience in different functional areas (i.e. sanitation, production, warehouse ). * Demonstrated leadership, employee championship, and cultural change experience
