Product Design Engineer

The Judge Group is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Fortune 500 manufacturing operation in the Santa Ana, CA area. The qualified engineer will design products and systems for manufacturing applications at the facility.

• Applies engineering principles to design, modify, and develop the product *Utilizes procedures, processes, and standards to create designs
• Selects appropriate processes for design requirements
• Creates design proposals
• Conducts studies on engineering proposals for product design
• Analyzes calculation results to determine design protocol feasibility
• Analyzes product specifications and performance requirements
• Prepares a product’s layout, drawings, and standards
• Directs and coordinates the manufacturing of the prototype
• Determines testing systems
• Determines evaluation scope for product and system design
• Ensures customer requirements are exceeded for product and system design
• Reviews the non-conformance and coordinates with other teams to determine solutions

• Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical Engineering
• Machining experience
• Exceptional product design engineering experience
• Exceptional communication skills
