Product Design Engineer

The Judge Group is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Fortune 500 manufacturing operation in the Santa Ana, CA area. The qualified engineer will design products and systems for manufacturing applications at the facility.

* Applies engineering principles to design, modify, and develop the product *Utilizes procedures, processes, and standards to create designs * Selects appropriate processes for design requirements * Creates design proposals * Conducts studies on engineering proposals for product design * Analyzes calculation results to determine design protocol feasibility * Analyzes product specifications and performance requirements * Prepares a product’s layout, drawings, and standards * Directs and coordinates the manufacturing of the prototype * Determines testing systems * Determines evaluation scope for product and system design * Ensures customer requirements are exceeded for product and system design * Reviews the non-conformance and coordinates with other teams to determine solutions

* Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical Engineering * Machining experience * Exceptional product design engineering experience * Exceptional communication skills
