Mechanical CAD Designer Mid Level

Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer Mid Level. This position is responsible for the mechanical design support of composite and metallic components and assemblies for Space, Airborne and ground based systems.

• Primary function is to perform all drafting requirements using 3D modeling software current platform is Creo 2.0 and data management tool WindChill 10.2.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings of product components by drawing graphic representations of products adding standard details and creation of bills of material.
• Handle changes to existing drawings. Integral part in product design documentation and automation for productivity improvements.

Required Experience

• 2 year degree preferably in drafting or CAD Design and/or certification from the American Design Drafting Association with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience working in mechanical design.
• Experience using Creo 2.0 and Windchill 10.2
• ASME Y14.5M (Dimension and Tolerance)
