Summary
The Judge Group is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician. The company is one of the World-Wide leaders in the Medical Technology market segment. The company was established over 100 years ago and has enjoyed consistent growth and diversification developing new medical devices and procedures. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for set-up and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. This opportunity is located in the Sumter SC area and relocation assistance is provided.
Responsibilities
* Set-up and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. * Preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program or as required to ensure a smooth operation. * Assist Engineering with the installation, debugging, and start-up of all production equipment. * Maintain equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems. * Document all process changes * Supports Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters. * Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements(QSR) are maintained. * Provides Management with relevant information on equipment and process performance, to include production and waste information.
Ideal Candidate
* 4+ years experience in high-speed manufacturing required; regulated industry highly preferred. * Associates Degree in Industrial Electronics preferred, equivalent experience will be considered. * Able to set-up and maintain all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems. * Able to interpret and comprehend basic ladder logic order to use PLC as a troubleshooting tool * Able to comprehend and adhere to specifications, procedures, requirements both written and verbal.

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 / Hour

Working Conditions

This position is a 12 hour night shift position (8 PM - 8 AM) with rotating days and is located in the Columbia SC area.
